HAMPSHIRE SUSTAINABLE SELF BUILD

An innovative construction methodology combined with a complex and sensitive site provides the backdrop of this sustainable self-build in the heart of the Hampshire countryside.

Working to Passivhaus standards involved sourcing and detailing an Insulated Concrete Formwork building envelope to rigid air tight guidelines enabling Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV heat and power technology.

The site, a walled garden attached to a Grade II listed country house proved a challenging planning route which the self-build client navigated to provide this sustainable and contemporary design.
